Boot Media connects to vault but no Backups are displayed

Thread needs solution

Hi there,

we are using Acronis Backup 11.7 Build 11.7.44421

Using one Server as a managment machine we are backing up variuos windows server.

The backups are stored in a centralized managed vault hosted on a QNAP NAS

We created a bootable media with the buildin media builder.
We are able to connect the vault but inside the boot enviroment it only shows the machines but no availibe backups.
Anybody here with a solution?

kind regards

Hello Jochen,

To access a managed vault, type the following string in the Path field:

bsp://node_address/vault_name/

After entering access credentials, you will see a list of archives located in the vault.

Hello Ekaterina,

I have a similar problem. I trying to restore a machine through bootable midia, but i'm using a backup stored in a external driver, without the manage server.

The system list de backups stored in drive, but don't show the files. (There are no backups).

How i work with bootable midia, but without the manage server?

Thanks!

Hello Marcelo,

are the backups stored in a centralized managed vault or in an unmanaged\personal vault? You don't need to have Acronis Management Server to restore data under a bootable media. Note, centralized vaults are not displayed in the folder tree of the Archive window.

To access a managed vault, type the following string in the Path field: bsp://node_address/vault_name/

To access an unmanaged centralized vault, type the full path to the vault's folder. After entering access credentials, you will see a list of archives located in the vault.

If the list of archives is empty, click on Refresh -> this option will re-scan the vault's directory and list existing backup files in the interface. Then you'll be able to browse for particular data.

Thank you,
