Bottable media not recognizing NIC

Thread needs solution

I cannot restore my Dell Optiplex 7050. The bootable media created on the same machine does not recognize the Intel i219lm NIC. I do not want to make a special boot media and load all sorts of software on my system, I just want Acronis to work as expected. If I create bootable media from the system I want to use it on, it should work. I even added the network drivers during the boot media creation. Using Acronis Backup Advanced 11.7.50064.

The only way to restore is add another PRO1000 NIC to the system. Why does this not work?

Update: Created a WinPE CD and I could not boot it in UEFI mode, had to switch to legacy mode. Then it worked and the network was working using the correct drivers. Problem is, there is no option in WinPE to create a USB recovery and that system does not have an optical drive.

So there are some questions

1. Why isn't there a USB option for WinPE USB bootable media?

2. Why doesn't the CD work in UEFI mode?

3. Why does adding the same drivers in Linux mode not work?

4. If the restore is done to a system partition in legacy mode, will Acronis restore it to work in GPT UEFI mode?
