Licensing fault.

Thread needs solution

the server to expire all of its licenses less than 10 days after adding them.

Ive had to re-enter all the license keys again but now none are being assigned I cant reassign them manually as it states that its already added to the management server so I remove the machine and attempt to add it back, it does so but still doesnt assign a license. I uninstall and attempt to reinstall the agent on the machine in question and still it doesnt reassign a license. Thanks.

Thank you for posting this issue in our forum. I am happy to assist you.

This problem can occur, due a missing or wrong entry at your Acronis Management Server machines Windows registry. To fix this, please follow these steps:

  1. On the machine, where the Acronis Management Server is installed, hit Win+R and enter services.msc and click OK;
  2. Stop all Acronis services;
  3. On the same machine, hit Win+R again and enter regedit and click OK;
  4. Navigate to following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Acronis\MMS\Configuration\License
  5. Check on the right part the subkey: LicenseServerAddress; if not entered, please enter the IP address of this Acronis Management Server machine in IPv4 format. Do not enter the name or an IPv6 address.
  6. Close the Windows registry editor and start the Acronis services again.
  7. To ensure, that the clients can access the updated information, please restart on all client machines the Acronis Managed Machine services. If you have on your Acronis Management Server also an Acronis Agent installed, restart also the Acronis Managed Machine.
