Online backup initial data seed

Thread needs solution

I'm interested in setting up cloud backup using Acronis® Backup & Recovery™ Online for the business I work for. We are already using Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 for backups to a networked PC.

We already have around 240GB of data that needs to be backed up. I really don't want to upload that much data via the internet.

Can we send physical media to Acronis for them to put into our cloud folder? Would they prefer a bunch of Blu-Ray disks or an external hard-drive? If we send the HDD would we get it back? Where would we send it to? Our business office is in Perth, Western Australia.

1) It's called Initial Seeding, some answers are in the userguide - http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/ABR11.5/index.html#9687.ht…
2) Only hard drive
3) If you pay for shipping it back, otherwise it will be destroyed.
4) Datacenter address will be displayed when you complete Initial Seeding backup and redirected to Acronis web site.

...now the answer 1) is no - because Initial Seeding is supported only in US and EU (with respective datacemters) - http://kb.acronis.com/content/15118
May be it's caused by some custom regulations...

Thanks for your reply dev-anon, that's unfortunate about the region-locking. I guess I will have to look for an Australia-compatible backup solution.
