Acronis Backup 12 performs Full backup instead of incremental backups

Hello,

After implenting Acronis Backup 12, we are experiencing issue that for one VM (server 2012) Acronis performs Full backup instead of incremental. 

I have deleted the old backup plan and created the new backup plan and the issue remains the same.  The backup plan is to perform incremental backup every 3 hours during working hours. I see that it performs full backups.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,

In case of agent-less backup (using Agent for VMware) the full backup may be triggered if there is an inconsistent Changed Block Tracking (CBT) record reported from the hypervisor. The typical solution would be to reset CBT for particular backed up VM as described in https://kb.acronis.com/content/2712 - see the last solution in corresponding section. If this doesn't help then checking the full backup log would help - it's located under \ServiceProcess\ folder in the generated .zip file after you click "Collect system information" from "Activities" section for particular VM - on the right side of the web console (the system report will be captured from agent which manages this VM automatically).
