Exchange 2016 CU4 Mailboxes Backup: Scheduling Error but Manually OK !

Hi guys,

I have a LAB experience as below:

  • I have an Exchange 2016 CU4 Mailbox server on a Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter
  • I've deployed Exchange Agent on this Exchange 2016 Mailbox Server
  • Acronis Backup Advanced 12.5.7970

When i try to create a plan to backup 02 test mailboxes but each time plan run (on 10:05 A.M and 10:15 A.M), it fails. Between these two Backup Plan, i try to run the Plan manually (on 10:11 A.M) and it's OK.

So how can i solve this problem ? Is it a bug of Acronis or just only this version of Acronis Backup doesn't support the Exchange Mailbox Backup Scheduling ?

Hi guys all,

Added information that with Domain Controller, i can use plan to schedule the backup job at regular interval (Acronis Agent for Active Directory is deployed directly on Domain Controller)

So what is the problem here with Mailbox Backup.

Hi guys,

i found the solution that remove the scheduled job on the agent and restart schdule2 service on server.

Problem fixed now.
