0xc0000017 Error on Boot up with PXE + Acronis
Hello,
i need some help. I installed a Acronis PXE Server on a Windows XP Pro 32 PC. I ve a extra Gateway for DHCP. I build up a rescue medium based on the Windows PE and send it to the PXE server. Everythink works fine with different Computers. But now i have a Lenovo T410s which boot up from the PXE Environment with the Windows Boot Manager Error 0xc0000017 (An unexpected error has occurred). I dont't know why. I create the same rescue medium on a cd and try to boot up. This works fine. But why not on the PXE environment?
BTW: I ve to use the PE Version, because i can integrate the driver. The linux based version don't find the network driver.

I got a similiar problem, when i boot up from LAN, I got the screen when i choose to go to Windows or to use the acronis snap deploy agent, I select acronis snap deploy agent, then it shows the screen to configure acronis snap deploy agent, after that i shows the a message processing please wait... and it stays there. it only happens with lenovo t410s, with older models the problem is not present, is there any update for acronis snap deploy that i can do

Most probably the issue was caused by the glitch of loading the boot components. This can be easily resolved by updating the components. I will send you the instructions via Private Message in a minute. Please check them and see whether the issue persists.

Hi
I am using a Thincentre edge desktop machine and using Acronis 11 to backup my computer that has Windows 7 64 bit along with other softwares installed.On boot up it gives me an error " Windows failed to start.A recent hardware or software might be the cause" Status 0xc0000017
Info : An unexpected error has occured.I have no clue what this error means.
Can you please guide me to resolve this issue.

Were you able to track which hardware/software changes have been done right before you received the Windows boot failure?

This was a clean installation of windows7 on the machine after which we loaded our custom software.Did not take any image backup before on this particular machine.

unfortunately your description doesn't show how the issue is related to Acronis products.
