ABR 10 won't start. Event code 0x00AD0003+0x00030002+0x0000FFF0
A few days ago, ABR 10 in my server suddenly stopped working. I've tried next:
- Restart (unsuccessful)
- Update and restart (unsuccessful)
- Uninstall, reinstall and restart (unsuccessful)
- I've seen acronis managed service is stopped. I start it, but one secord after it stops again.
Next step is format system!!!
Expect some workaround. Thank you.

Ok, problem solved, as seen at the end of this post http://forum.acronis.com/forum/8501
I used free edition of revo uninstaller www.revouninstaller.com
and after that ABR_cleanup utility http://kb.acronis.com/content/6177
Very annoying, but it works.
PD: There are many errors with the same solution. Why not create a tool that makes all process above automatically and stop this hell?

I am sorry that you had to go through all this, but at the end I am happy that the issue was resolved.
We are currently working to include a clean up utility into our software, so that it can be completely removed without using the revouninstaller or the clean up utility. I am confident it will be included in a future release of our software.

Hello Anton,
i have same issue on 2008 sbs with acronis 10 with latest update. i changed acronis management server to "local system account" nothing changed. please see attachment below
- what do you suggest?
- I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling new version using normal method (add\remove program) do i need to go with Alberto suggestion?
- did you guys completed cleanup utility or i should try above links suggested by Alberto?

Hello Masood,
Thank you for bringing up this issue. I will do my best to assist you.
I would recommend to use our own Acronis clean up utility to get rid of all the software traces. The latest build of Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 software is 11639, however, for small business server version we have released a new build with minor fixes - 11647. I was not able to find any registered products under your Acronis web-account, so if you could please use this link for instructions for downloading the latest build of our software.
When installing the program, please specify a user that has the following privileges and is a member of the backup administrators group:
- Log on as a service user right
- Adjust memory quotas for a process and Replace a process level token user rights
You can also check this installation guide on page 15 for additional information.
It is not recommended to change the Acronis services to a local system account, unless specifically instructed by an Acronis technical support engineer.

thanks for reply. i will reinstall software after hours and will use cleanup utility as well.
i used latest version "BackupRecoveryAdvancedSBS.11647_s_en" and for creating user, i chose default option "create a user" though i'm not sure if i was right.
i'll let you know by tomorrow about outcome.

It is not a problem to chose the default option, to create a user during the installation, but considering the circumstances, I would recommend that you specify your administrator account.

i did choose administrator account but gave me an error that this account doesn't have enough permission, so i just used default.

It is possible, that when you try to add your machine to the Acronis Management Server, the Management Server either crashes or its service is not started. I am afraid I cannot tell you the reason for it at the moment.
I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience, but this issue can be caused by a number of factors, permissions, service crash or network issues.
The best way to resolve this problem is to contact our support directly, I am confident that we will be able to resolve this for you.
When submitting your request, please include the following information:
1. AcronisInfo from the computer where this issue occurs.
2. Dr.Watson crash dumps, in case the Management Server service is indeed crashing.

Hello,
I got the same Problem.
I just downloaded the latest Build Version from Acronis Website and installed it. Starting Acronis and connection to localhost i get the same error message as Masood Bahrampouri.
Tried to download Acronis cleanup utility but i got the error, that i am not authorized.
Could you please help me?

In order to resolve it, I would like to ask you additional questions please. I will need the full error message or preferably a screenshot of it because Masood's problem was related to adding his physical machine to the Acronis Management Server.
From the description of the issue you are providing, it looks like you cannot manage your local machine.
