ABR10U1 - email notification blocked by McAfee VirusScan v.8.7i

I have followed the steps at the KB1531 of "E-mail Notifications Fail in Acronis Backup Products", to set my anti-virus software, McAfee VirusScan v.8.7i, to trust the following:
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\BackupAndRecoveryAgent\BackupAndRecoveryService.exe"

However, an error message is prompted with the following information:
...
Module: C:\Program Files\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\mms.exe
Message: Failed to send a test e-mail notification.
...

I tried to exclude this execution file at Access Protection of 'Anti-virus Standard Protection:Prevent mass mailing worms from sending mail'. It did not work. Finally, I need to disable it or to cancel the inclusion.

I understand that it is not the problem of ABR10U1 but I want to see if anyone has an ideas.
