ABRW10 and Pervasive SQL database

Greetings,

I am deploying ABR10 Workstation in a small windows based office environment. A majority of these sites use an accounting package called Pastel Partner which incorporates a Pervasive SQL database.
My questions are:
1. Does ABRW10 support the backing up of this type of database?
2. When I schedule automated backups after hours, will Acronis pop up with any user intervention such as requiring to "pause" the database in order to back it up ?
3. I intend to schedule a full image backup every monday at 21h00, followed by a daily differential backup at 22h00 and a daily incremental backup at 23h00.Would this recovery plan at the most lose a "days" work should a disaster occur?
4. What type of plan do you recommend?

1),2) A post on a competitor's forum from late 2008 suggests that Pervasive is not VSS-aware, so you need to stop and restart it at least in pre- and post- data capture commands while the snapshot is created. Afaik commands launched in these scripts don't have an ability to interact with desktop (but I may remember it incorrectly) (for Pervasive these commands are "pvbackup –on" and "pvbackup –off")
3) Yes, but what is the point of having the incremental right after the differential? It will not increase reliability in case of corrupted preceding differential backup, as incremental one is based on it and requires it for recovery.
