Account Credentials Change

Thread needs solution

The Acronis software was installed under the Domain Administrators account. We recently change the account name (password is the same) due to security tightening and now one of the backups is failing.

When you go to edit the job, and drill down to where the backup will be stored (the Tape Drive) it's asking for credentials for the tape drive and it won't accept the new information. Can that be updated/changed somehow without uninstalling/reinstalling the software?

If you cannot reinstall the software I would recommend changing the log on accounts for Acronis services manually. Please use the following article from our Knowledge Base for additional assistance.
