Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 release 1

Could anyone confirm when "release 1" is released for Backup & Recovery 11 at all?

I am anxiously awaiting the next release/update as well. As it is now, there is no point in rolling out ABR11 at all because so many things are broken...

On one of the tech events we were told there was a "release 1" version due out shortly afterwards with a lot of updates.
We are not going to goto A&R 11 until this release 1 is released as version 11 as it stands is worse than useless.
I cannot see this "release 1" mentioned anywhere on this website yet this was told to me and also to my colleagues who went to a seperate event.

Hi All
Going on Acronis’s previous history they generally release what they call Update 0 which will include any bug fixes that have been found since the initial release. So please ensure any issues you have found or experienced are reported to Acronis support so they can be dealt with before the update is released.
We also have a number of customers running ABR11 in live environments already and most of the feedback we have received is positive except from a few customers, but the good news is most we have been able to fix or have a work around in place such as the VSS issue. So if you have run into issues please ensure they are logged directly with Acronis support to ensure all customers can benefit and ensure there is enough time to included in the next update release.
P.S. Acronis have not released any release date for the next update as yet.

Yes Update 0 is what i meant. We had a lot of issues on installing version 11 and have been told that it is not worth installing this until this update comes out as it is full of bugs so we have gone back to version 10.

There has been some mention of a minor hotfix but the rev. number remains the same.
I have deployed ABR11 in a fairly standard environment and aside from a few minor bumps, so far it is far superior to ABR10 in every way and is functioning very well.

You are correct there was a minor update released with ABR11 a few days after its launch, the build number was not changed but the file signed date was. Most people had not downloaded the initial build yet and the fix was posted quickly so did not affect many. The reason for the fast update was there were some issues found in the license server not accepting some keys so the required changes were made very quickly and the version re-uploaded with the same build number... No other changes were made to the product other than the licence server fix.
Update 0 will try and address any issues reported to Acronis so any issues found please ensure you log them with Acronis to ensure they have enough time to work on any required fixes before Update 0 is released.
I’ve also received feedback from some of our customers that ABR11 is functioning and working, others have reported issues, the 2 common ones I've seen are upgrading from ABR10 to ABR11 (some jobs are not brought over correctly, if you re-create them all runs fine) and others have reported issues with VSS (automatic setting), changing this to software-system provider fixes that issue so with those two workaround’s people are reporting good feedback. Both these issues listed above are being worked on for Update 0.
