Arcserve Backup & Recovery 11 Scheduler Issue

Hi All,

Noob with this product but having issues with the scheduler on Build 11.0.17437

We have two jobs setup - Weekday to USB 3.0 device & Weekly to a NAS device onsite.

We have had 2 issues recently where one of the USB drives was full and it mean that the job was held waiting for a response which mean that the next days job did not run. We then had a problem with the NAS drive being powered off by an end user and the same result - the daily jobs did not run until we responded to that message.

There does not seem to be an override for this that I can see. Is that right or am I totally missing it?

I can only compare it to CA's equiv product that creates a 'Makeup' job in the event of a failure. Is there anything similar?

Try 'silent mode' in backup options->error handling. This will make job fail instead of displaying interactions.
