Back up Failing

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I have a sbs 2003 server running my licnce server for a xp pc on the local network. When I start the back up process I get the below error. Can you advise of any solutions for this?

Thank you for finding time to open the thread and report about the issue!  I understand your concern and will be glad to help you.

Usually one receives these errors in case he's backing up to the USB drive. We have solved this problem, and the solution description is described in this KB article. Feel free to check it.

Should you backup to any other location, or the issue persist, please contact me directly via PM for the SnapAPI update: probably SnapAPI drivers, responsible for accessing the driver and snapshot creation, got corrupted or failed to install properly.

If the solution does not eliminate the issue, please collect Acronis Info, Acronis Report and Windows System Information File.

After that please kindly contact support directly with the information attached. Keep in mind that should there be any procrastination with the reply, you can always specify us the case number. We will do our best to speed up the process.

Looks like you may have hard disk read/write problems?

I ran a chkdsk hard drive fine also tried install the new snapapi update and have unistalled and reinistalled acronis still no luck. Will have to contact online support.
