Backup and recovery Workstation does ot see hard drive or partition

Thread needs solution

Data to backup (What to backup) shows no drives or partitons to backup. The OK button is greyed out. Unable to create an image onto another machine. Please help. I am using Backup and recovery veriosn 10 update 3

Thank you for posting. I will do my best to help you with this problem.

There are several reasons for this issue, such as third party software is blocking access to the disks or low-level (SnapApi) drivers malfunction. Please check the solution from this article, it has a detailed guide of what can be done. Almost towards the end of the article, if you need to update the low-level drivers, use this link instead which has a newer version.

If you the article fails to fix this issue for you, please collect the following diagnostic information and contact our Support team with it:

  1. Get AcronisInfo Utility;
  2. Screenshot your Windows Disk Management (Start-Run -> diskmgmt.msc). See also Creating Screenshots;
