Backup Job hung at 73% and won't complete

Thread needs solution

Using Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 to back up an VMware virtual machine. The job is stuck and won't complete. I tried stopping the job with no success. Is there a way to force this task to end?

The job can be canceled by ending BackupandRecovery.exe process in the Task manager.

After that please restard Acronis Managed Machine Service and the Agent on the target machine - this should help to resolve the issue.

Should the problem persist, please gather the following information:

  1. Acronis Info
  2. Exact sequence of steps performed

Checked taskmanager and there is no such process running. Any other ideas?
