Backup not deleting older version

Thread needs solution

I make full backups of 'My computer' once a fortnight using ATIH 2009 and the setting is that when the HD is full the program overwrites the oldest backup.
For some reason this does not happen and halfway or so through a backup stops and I have to delete the oldest backup manually then go back to the begining and start again.

Any idea how to adjust the setting so it automatically overwrites the oldest backup when there is not enough space?

Hello Don,

Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/ | Acronis True Image]]

To find the exact reason of the encountered issue I need the appropriate log file. I need the log file of the operation when the program failed to overwrite the old archive.

- Launch the program;
- Tasks and logs, Log;
- Choose the respective log entry and make right-click on it;
- Select save option and specify the desired location for the log file to save to;
- Attach the log file to your next post.

Also please attach the appropriate task script, the file is located at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts and has the .tib.tis extension. You can identify the task script by the date of its creation.

Thank you.
