i have a problem with make a backup from the data partiton. the error message is:

i have two disk im my server. the first is the system disk. from this i can make a backup without problems. When i make a backup from the two disk, then i become the error message.

I had the same issues with B&R 10 Server (standalone). German support sent me a download link with a new SnapApi (time stamp December 10th 2009, 08:56:51). After installing this fix it runs now smoothly.

These error entries can be safely ignored. The operations are still performed successfully and the backups and archives should still be consistent.
When any operation is performed with a backup in a centralized managed vault, Acronis Storage Node synchronizes its database with Acronis Management Server.
A report about any operation comes to the Acronis Management Server with an ID of the entity (backup ID or archive ID). When the IDs coincide, the Acronis Management Server produces an error in the log.
This has already been fixed and the fix will be available in the next officially released build of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10.

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help.
Jürgen,
Most probably, your backups are corrupted. Please try to find the corrupted backup in the chain. The program allows you to validate the entire vault content or individual archives or backups. Probably, one of the backups in the chain is corrupted, you can find and remove it. A vault is available for access from the Navigation pane. Having selected the vault, you can browse the archives stored there and perform the validation.
After that recreate the corrupted backup and see if the issue remains. If the issue still persists or if all backups in the chain are corrupted, please see this article for information on how to troubleshoot the issue with corrupted archives.

Launch the first Acronis One-Click Backup from the product:
- Start Acronis True Image Home 2010;
- Click Tools & Utilities -> One-Click Backup;
After the first Acronis One-Click Backup runs and completes successfully, all subsequent attempts to run Acronis One-Click Backup by clicking the desktop icon should also be successful.

I followed your instructions and ran the first Acronis One-Click Backup from Tools and Settings from the main program. The backup ran successfully. I then used the One-Click backup from the desktop icon and did not have an error message. It seemed to solve the problem. Thank you very much for your assistance. we run backups every night on our ESX. We have 5VMs and 4 work without any problems by a backup plan. The 5th troubles from time to time displaying the loc file below. The other appliances have the same configurations.

Most probably, the issue is caused by conflict with the SQL Express VSS writer.
Disable the SQL Express VSS writer:
- Invoke Windows Services (Start-Run -> services.msc);
- Right-click on the SQL Server VSS Writer service and click Stop:
- Double click on the SQL Server VSS Writer service and set the Startup type to Disabled:
- Click OK.
Disabling the SQL Express VSS writer will not affect the product's performance. See also Microsoft TechNet Article: SQL Writer Service.

workaround on broken images - foreword:
The Windows Setup CD (bootable) has a repair function. you can use it in conjunction with manually mounting/copying as described here...
Basic Setup:
Use the BART-PE windows-from-CD or a second HDD with windows on it like in my case.
I run Win-XP and inserted the HDD to recover on another sATA Port.
So basically I can see an empty or damaged 2nd HDD on my XP system.
NOW:
Under XP I mounted the image which was commented "broken"
I formated and created partitions on the 2nd HDD using "ADD HARDDRIVE" from the ACRONIS HOME "extras"-menu.
(if you dont know the size of the partition to be created, just check the mounted image and you can see how big it should be)
You will have an empty HDD now (with partitions in my case)
Now copy ALL (even hidden) files from the mounted drive to the 2nd HDD.
The HDD will not yet boot due to "NTLDR missing".
I shutdown the PC, remove my XP system HDD, and reinstalled my VISTA-recovered-HDD to my primary sATA port.
I inserted the VISTA-Setup-CD.
Reboot the PC with the windows-setup CD.
Select your language and click the 1st INSTALL button. (or the other way around: 1st setup, 2nd language, does not matter)
The important thing is to select "Repair option" or "Reparaturoptionen" in the setup. Do not actually run the whole setup.
The Vista-setup would scan for a already installed system and repaired the HDD first time not correctly.
But I did the boot CD a second time and it repaired the NTLDR.
Now it runs with no problems. I am currently writing this mail from it.

I guess you could also install the HDD completely with vista from scratch and afterwards overwrite the whole HDD files with the mounted image files
