Backup to tape fails
Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 Server for Windows: I had two plans cross paths where both jobs stopped with errors. After I realized I had a conflict, I deleted the job that was no longer needed and attempted to run a tape backup, it failed. Deleted the plan and recreated, it failed. used a new tape, failed. Reinstalled software, backup failed. Error listed below.

Hello,
We are experiencing exactly the same issue with backing up to a tape. We attempted many different options and nothing has yet worked. Looking forward to seeing what the solution is.
Please post when the issue is resolved.

Hello Chris and xceneo,
Thank you for your comments, and bringing this thread up. I'll be glad to share the solution with you.
This problem can be caused by different reasons, but currently the workaround is the following:
1. Stop ARSM service. (Acronis Removable Storage Management Service)
2. Delete file C:\ProgramData\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\ARSM\Database\arsm.sqlite
3. Start ARSM service.
4. Perform Detect Hardware and Inventory.
5. Start backup.
This should fix the problem. If it remains, please re-gather this report and send it to support alongside with the exact sequence of steps description.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concern, we will be glad to help you.
Thank you.

This did not actually fix the problem. I had the same issue. However I did call Acronis support and a developer helped sort out the problem. Apparently there is a fix for this issue in the latest release of ABR11.
