Bootable disk for windows server 2003 r2

Thread needs solution

I have acronis 10 server software and backed up our machine with 2003 server r2 with no problem. Howver, I can't create a bootable disk. When I begin the process, I have to pick the operating system and I only get two options: Windows PE and unix. Obviously, I can't create a bootable disk for the wrong operating system. The info with the Acronis software says that it will work with windows server 2003. I did not install in the software, but I'm wondering if something was missed during install that is causing the issue. Any ideas?

Hello Scotty.

The option provided refers to the bootable media only. It gives you the opportunity to create either a linux based rescue media or a windows based one.
Anyway they will both work in your case and you'll be able to restore your Windows 2003 with either of them.

Bye

Thank you for your reply! I'll try to create a bootable disk tomorrow!
