After upgrading to the newest Build: 10.0.11647 i can no more access my tasks.

The management console starts, i see the dashboard can access the logs, start disk management but backups and tasks won't open.

Hello Lutz Juwick,

Thank you for posting about this issue. I will be happy to resolve it for you.

This problem occurs if an XML log inside the Acronis logs folder becomes corrupted. Please check the following article, there are 2 solutions listed there. If none of them resolve the issue, please scroll to the bottom of the same article and collect the information listed there. After that, submit a support request and we will be able to resolve this issue for you.

Let me know if you have additional questions please.

Thank you.

I did all of these.
I will attach the AcronisReport.zip and a new log.

I really don't want to reinstall the hole backupsystem all the time a problem occurs. It really sucks...

Hello Lutz Juwick,

Hello Lutz Juwick,

Thank you for responding.

After carefully analyzing the logs that you kindly provided, it appears that the issue is caused by an empty instance file which for some reason failed to get updated. Please navigate to the following location on your machine:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\MMS\Instances and locate the file with this name: A268C492-A631-47FA-90EE-63A4107C44E4

Please delete that file and restart the Acronis Managed Machine service. I am confident that the initial issue will be resolved.

For our forum community members, for issues related to "Failed to parse the XML" or Similar Entries in the Log I would still suggest to use the following article and not perform any other steps unless suggested by an Acronis support engineer.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

Hello Anton Deev
I have exactly the same problem since two days.
The log and stat clearing does not solve anything.
Attached is AcronisInfo.zip.
No Log as I have cleared it as recommended in the Article.
Regards
Eric Vincenot
