Cannot create backup to local disk or USB drive

Thread needs solution

Just bought backup and recovery advance after Loving the true workstation product and came back. Went to forums and saw many having this or familiar problem. Already tried the Policies under Manage of disks to turn on. Still does not work. Does not work on hard drive either. Cannot continue until this is resolved. Wanting to create images as seamless as the older product. Please guys get back to the quality product you had and let me know what is going on ASAP.

Hello Kyle,

Thank you for finding time to open the thread, and report about the issue, I appreciate it. I understand your concern, and will be glad to help you!

Unfortunately due to the lack of sufficient investigation information it is hard to say for sure what exactly caused this issue. It's related to the SnapAPI drivers being unable to properly access the drive, and take a snapshot, but it's still not clear what exactly's causing it.

Before we proceed with the investigation, I'd advise you to follow the instructions mentioned in these 2 articles: 1514 and 15725. Both of them are related to SnapAPI update and options.

Should the problem remain, please gather Acronis Info and contact support directly with the information attached. Keep in mind that should there be any procrastination with the reply, you can always specify us the case number. We will do our best to speed up the process.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!
