Compatability with RAID setups

Thread needs solution

My Windows Home XP OS is a SCASI system with 2 primary hard drives operating in a mirror RAID configuration. There is also an additional backup removable hard drive.  The normal method of installing the OS is to insert the Windows disk and wait for the computer to ask for the RAID drivers to be installed via floppy disk (no other options are available).  I already have a trial version of True Image 2009 installed with the Backup folder on the removable hard drive.  I only want to use this program to refresh the operating system on a periodic basis based on today’s current snapshot image.  Is this practical and feasible?

Hello anthony graham,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Yes, it's possible to do so with Acronis True Image Home 2009, you can schedule backup of your system partition (setting weekly, daily or monthly execution). Software will create backup of your partition to any destination (network share, internal or external drive).

Please keep in mind that full information about backup procedure is available in 5 chapter of User's Guide, which can be downloaded here.

Thank you.
