HI all,

I just restored (using Universal Restore ) from a back up, everything went fine, but now that I'm trying to boot the restored PC, I get a "Disk Error Press any key to Restart" error.

I validated the image. I'm running True Image Echo Server v8.

Thank you for reporting about the issue!

The error you received points on the issue with the geometry of the hard drive. Unfortunately due to the version you are using is an outdated one, there are no updates for it, so we can try to resolve it in two ways:

  1. Please kindly follow the steps described in this article to fix the booting part of Windows.
  2. Wipe and repartition the drive. After that please recover on it once again with minimal resizing. This may help to resolve the issue.

i think i got the same problem....but i don't know what i have to do (please tell step by step)
btw....i can't open the windows....i got Vista DVD .......i open the computer with ubuntu life

What product were you using? There are no Acronis Products registered to your account...
