Email - Operation execution failed

Hi,

We are using Acronis B&R V10 and it has been working fine for years. It sends an email when the backup completes with either a success or failure message.

All of a sudden last week we started to recieve 2 emails, one indicating that the backup has completed successfully and then, only minutes later another email with the following content:

Operation execution failed.
Description: Failed to start backup.

I checked the backup and it has in fact completed successfully. I can mount the backup and restore files from it.

I am concerned that this issue is maskinga bigger problem and my concern is whether in fact the backup will be unusable in the event of an OS restore in the future.

To try and rectify the problem, I have deleted the job and recreated it, but still it persists. It's a very simple job in that is backs up C and D drive of the server onto an attached USB drive.

Does anyone know what this error really means?

Hello

There is a chance that some task is present in the scheduler but it does not exist in the agent.
Try doing this:
1. Export your backup plans.
2. Delete your backup plans.
3. run Task Zap as described here: https://kb.acronis.com/content/1859
4. Import backup your plans.
