Error code 8.454.148(0x810004)

Thread needs solution

Which is the cause of this error code?
I read it in the registry about 10 times per second

It appeared about 6 months ago and since then the system is always locked.
I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the ABR but nothing has improved.
Backup plans often work good but slowly and sometimes going in loop.

Someone can help me?

Check xml files in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\MMS\Instances\" . One of it (with the name 3829268E-19E1-4DF1-80EC-9CFE590F52DA) is damaged (invalid XML or may be no permissions, or something else). If it's one of 'virtual machine' type of instances you probably can just delete this file - it will be recreated. If it's the file for 'physical' instance of the machine itself, Id' delete it too if the machine is not registered in Management Server.

Deleted the instance no more errors in registry.

It seams it work good now.
