Failed to check the license key. The key is disabled

Thread needs solution

We recently lost the person in charge of backups in the IT dept. All passwords were changed so now I am getting this error and the backups will not run. I have imported the license keys because none were listed but even when trying to configure a new backup plan I get the same error. The owner account is administrator; I have changed this password but the "account" is a different login and I can't find where to change this password. I

You may need to manually specify license server in help->change license.

I didn't get this part. If you mean the autogenerated account under which acronis services are run, you need to specify its new password only in service 'properties' under 'logon' tab. Its password is changed like any other windows account password.
