Gmail email notifications

Thread needs solution

I just recently installed Acronis Backup Server 11 for one of my customers.  I was trying to configure the email notifications for the backup schedule with a gmail account.  I followed these instructions from Acronis but it doesn't work:

I know my gmail account works because I use it for notifications for other devices and it sends out fine.  

Has anyone gotten this to work on version 11 for Backup server?

The error message that I get (tried both TLS/SSL with ports 465/587).  I tried enable/disabling the login to pop server as well:

Hi,

I'd suggest keeping the option "Login to POP server before SMTP" disabled even though it was not the cause for the failure (it should be enabled only if required by the server) and following the troubleshooting steps from the article Acronis Backup: Troubleshooting E-mail Notification Failures.
