How to recover Linux partition with ATIEWS 9.7.8398 ?

Thread needs solution

Hi ,

I've created a TIB of my Ubuntu Linux (ext3-FS) and cannot recover it back.
When I go and start the recovery process , select this partition and check "MBR and track 0" it brings me to a screen with "NT signature selection for image restoration" from there I have to choose the whole HDD instead of single partition a state which I've never been before so I'm reluctant to continue it.
If I choose "Ext3" instead, it won't let me recover it neither to a pre-prepared ext3 partition nor to an unallocated partition (with sufficient space ofcourse but with a little less space then the original ext3 partition) WHY ??

I'm Using Windows XP Pro SP3 and my partition table looks like this:
NTFS(32GB,primary,active)|Ext3(9.5GB)|LinuxSwap(0.5GB)|NTFS(70GB,logical)

Hello Rpz79,

Thank you for bringing up this issue. I will do my best to help you with it.

At the moment there is little troubleshooting information to get this resolved. I would recommend to submit a support request with an AcronisInfo report from your Windows machine and a Linux System Report from your Linux machine.

We will be able to resolve this for you.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you.
