Issues with B&R 11 for Linux Servers (Advanced)

Thread needs solution

Hi,

We're currently testing B&R11 for our Linux servers but having difficulty creating backup tasks.

Our servers are built on Gentoo, and we have successfully installed the B&R software (after installing rpm support and manually creating the /mms directory). In the B&R management console, the disks and volumes appear correctly, however after going through the process of configuring a backup task and clicking "OK" we get the following error:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Failed to create the backup plan.

Originally, we had installed B&R on a server with software RAID1 after pulling one of the disks to restore if required after testing. Thinking this could be related, we have since tried another Gentoo based server (without RAID) but we receive the same error.

Google finds no results for "POR: The array element cannot be found" so we would appreciate any assistance in getting these backups configured and running correctly.
