Hi,

I just purchased "Acronis Backup and Recovery 11 Workstation" for installation at a remote site.

I'd like to temporarily install it on my system so I can work out the backup configuration and write up some user instructions. I haven't used the product before.

I see that the serial number is required immediately upon installation. How can I temporarily use the serial number and not have an activation problem when I do the install at the production site?

Would a trial serial number let me test backup configurations/scenarios?  It looks like the trial mode only has boot disk limitations which I don't think would hinder me.

Hi Frank

You can use a trial key with no issues on your test system to setup and play around with the software. The easiest way to do this is goto the Acronis website and select that you want to try the software... Acronis will then send you a trial key that you can enter into the installer...
