Post installation issues - ABR 11

Two of our ABR Advanced SErver installation became unusable after upgrade to version 11, exhibiting similar problems:
- Backup jobs didn't migrate
- ABR stops responding on any action that involves vaults
By any action involving vaults I mean:
- Select a vault as part of creating a new backup plan
- Create a new vault
- View existing vault
- Verify existing vault
- Centralized or Personal vault
Trying to create a new vault in new folder returns "Checking vault..." for hours (manually canceled after that).
Accessing existing vault returns "Checking vault..." and then "Obtaining location permission list". This has been running for several days now.
Another vault on the same server opened after several days of Operation Progress and is now showing two lock files in the vault structure that are 0 size but their last update date and time keep changing.
Encrypted vault is behaving unexpectedly (some archives require password and some do not), but it is not preventing us from running backups on that server, so it is a low priority.
We have been working with tech support on the issues for over a week and are now considering waiting for the next release of ABR that we were told would be out soon.
It would be very helpful to know whether this is a common issue that is going to be addressed in the next release.
