Problem with conection with a Linux Agent ABR 11 Advanced

Also if you wanted to install the management console on the Linux server to see if you are able to connect locally you could use the following installers if you have GUI:

Management Console for Linux 64-bit: http://download.acronis.com/trial/ABR11MCL64_trial_en-US.x86_64

Thanks Dabastor for your help, I obtain the response of the Linux Agent ABR11 advanced in the linux server, when i try to connected to it, the agent in linux server paid credentials credentials for connection, i only have 2 users in that server (root and user1), i try writing that users and password but don't permit the connection. Is an any especial User?.

We have the same exact issue, is there any update to this ?

We are using the trial Advanced Version ABR 11 same exact version of Red Hat 5.6

If we try to connect via remote connection it sees the machine get prompt for user and password once entered error is service is not running

If we try to add to manager console it states can not establish connection

Please Help Us Out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have setup a test Linux server and followed the steps in the manual but I’m not having any connection issues on my end unfortunately so am not too sure what is causing these issues... Perhaps please have a read through the installing the Linux agent section of the manual to ensure all required steps have been done? That infomation does not help at all , we have support looking in to problem at the same time was hoping there was something else that needed to be done

Good to hear support is looking into the issue you have run into, hope they come up with a solution soon for you... Update 0 of ABR11 should be out soon as well, Once that is released it might be worth a try as well but check with Support as they would know best.

Just wanted to let you know what Update 0 for ABR11 has been released hear is a copy of the release notes for the latest ABR11 build:

still have problem even with the new release

we are working with the dev team to resolve the problem

besides having the connection issue the client has issues once installed
