PXE License error

Thread needs solution

I would really appreciate if someone can bring a bit of light to my problem with PXE boot + TrueImageHome (Linux). I keep getting license error message. So basically im running my pxe and obviously i cannot run another one as it would kill it.
If this is not possible is there any other Acronis product which would allow me to boot to 3rd party PXE under linux?

Any help/suggestion is greatly appreciated as this is causing me great grief .

Thanks so much

Hello Miroslav Petras, Hello Ivan Blinov,

Welcome to our forum. Thank you for posting your question. I am happy to assist you to answer your questions.

As a system restriction, you can only run one PXE service at the same time. It is not possible to run two PXE services at the same network environment at the same time. This limitation is from PXE technology itself, not from Acronis Product.

To use a third party PXE service you need to create an Acronis bootable media and create an ISO file instead of burning a DVD or CD. This ISO file you can upload to your PXE service. Please follow the instructions of the vendor of this PXE server.

Find more information in the online help of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 & Acronis Backup & Recovery 11. You can find instructions how to download Acronis Bootable Media here.

If there is anything else, we can do for you, please let me know.

Thank you.

The iso-solution also works for PE-based Acronis ISO.
