Replication clean-up!

Thread needs solution

Hello,
We are using Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 on Server 2003 R2. I created two scheduled backup tasks on it. These scheduled tasks are stopping one time later and i am right clicking on task but i can not see start simple full backup there is just Replication/Clean up selection. So task is not starting to backup.

Why it is happening?
How can i deny it ?

Thank you for posting this question in our forum. I am happy to assist you.

This looks like the backup tasks are still running or the Acronis Managed Machine service hangs. You can manually stop them on the local machine by hitting Win+R and start commandline (cmd) as administrator. Then type taskkill /f /im mms.exe to stop the process. After this you can restart the services via the service management console (Hit Win+R and type services.msc and start the Acronis Managed Machine Service).

If you need additional assistance, please create a system report of the affected machine and contact support. You will find all available support options in our Customer handbook.

Hello,
I tried your solution after deleted tasks and created again. Tasks completed successfully yesterday. But today tasks did not started. It looks like same( there is no start full backup) today. I launch your command and restarted Acronis services from Services.ms .
It is not solved.
Is this a bug? Maybe i need a service pack or patch. I am waiting for another recommendation ASAP.

Can you provide me more detailed information about your environment?

  • What Build from Acronis you are using? (Build 11.0.17440 is the latest available)
  • How is your backup plan set up exact? (Screenshots would be fine)
  • What is your backup destination? (NAS, Disk, Tape, etc)
  • What message is shown in the logs? Please export the log and attach it also.

It is possible that tasks were deleted by antivirus - check C:\ProgramData\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\MMS\TasksStorage\ . Does number of files there remain the same after you recreate the backup plan and after tasks disappeared?
