Restore on another computer with UR?

Hello,

yesterday I backup my Mailserver with Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Server für Windows and Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Server für Windows Universal Restore
Now I have a ~94GB Backupfile on a network drive
My question, how can I restore this Backup on another Computer that have a new Harddisc?

 Hello Klaus!

Welcome to our Forum, it's nice to have you with us! I understand your scenario and will be glad to guide you. 

For recovery operation you need to create a bootable media (Tools -> Create Bootable Rescue Media). 

Should you restore onto the similar hardware (same chipset and RAID controller), then simply boot from the CD, choose Recovery option and follow the instructions listed. 

Should you have different mass storage devices (chipset, RAID or SCSI controller, etc) you will need to add the drivers for these devices in order to make the system bootable. I would advise you to take a look at this Acronis Universal Restore Guide with step-by-step screenshots. You may find it useful. 

Please note that according to the Acronis License Policy you will need one license for one computer your are going to backup or restore.
