Rhel 3.5 reboots after restortion URGENT

Hi Guys,

I'm having a problem on restoring the Rhel 3.5 on a different hardware. It always reboots after restoration. It only goes to the grub, then it reboots. After reboot, goes to the grub again and then reboots again. It is continuously rebooting.

I also tried other servers running on rhel 3.5 but I still get the same output. The hardware where the Rhel 3.5 was installed is in IBM blade server HS20 then I'm trying to restore it in the Blade Server HS22. That is where I'm getting the error.

By the way, I'm using ABR10 build 13762 Bootable media on restoration.

Hello Juz

You may try these hints, but if the hardware is really different then only upgrade to ABR11 may help. ABR11 has Universal Restore for Linux, and you can apply it to the already restored server: http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/ABR11/index.html#11392.html

btw according to article http://kb.acronis.com/content/2757 ABR10 does not officially support Rhel 3.5.
