Having Trouble getting an email notification to send when the backup has completed or even a test email.

Version of Software I'm running.
Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 update 3
Acronis Nackup and Recovery 10 Agent (build 10.0.12497)

MS Windows Small Business Server 2008 premium 64bit
MS Exchange 2007 Service Pack 1

The error I'm getting is as follows.

Error Occured while sending the test message.

Code: 21,954,575(0x14F000F)
LineInfo: 0xDA7E49CF4160DF4;

Module: C:\program Files(x86)\Acronis\backupand Recovery\mms.exe
Message: fatal error has occured while reading from the socket.

Any One any idea's please.

Problem resolved, combination of authentication and old email account.

If you don't mind posting, what authentication problems? I just installed ABR10 and I'm getting the same error.

Another thing that I discovered, if you or anyone else is using McAfee, under Anti-Virus Standard Protection, take the checkmark out of the BLOCK part of "Prevent mass mailing worms from sending email". Works like a champ.
