Updated snapapi.dll stops Disk Director from working

Thread needs solution

Hi,

as I have finally managed to get around the dreaded BSOD after installation I now experience a follow-up issue with the new driver files:

My installation of Disk Director 10.0.2161 is unwilling to work now. I get an error "E000101F4 : error in application module" that requests me to reinstall DD. I did this but nothing improved. I fear the new driver is incompatible with the old DD suite.

Somebody with helpful ideas?

Hi

I made the same experience with WINXP, VISTA, Win7

regards Toni

Yep, I am running XP SP3 and there is the error.

I can only hope Acronis gets this solved right away. For this also screws up the OS Selector features (cant be used from windows any longer, same error). And I am quite dependent on it working.

If I hadn't payed for Disk Director and if DD would be a different company's product, ok, but now that is making me unhappy.

For the time being just for partitioning topics the free EASEUS Partition Master 4.0 Home still works well alongside ABR10 with new driver files.

I guess there's an update to DD due now.
