Upgrade to Universal Restore

Thread needs solution

Hi, I purchased universal restore at the time of buying Acronis Backup & Recovery 10. I neglected to add Universal Restore at the time of installation, but have done so now. Your system accepted the serial number and now lists the full product description "with Universal Restore." However, I cannot see the options to include Universal Restore in the "Create Boot Media" area. Can you please advise how this gets properly applied? Thanks much.

Answering myself, since no one seems to be around (but for the benefit of others), I solved this by applying the update, noting that the license now said "with Universal Restore" and rebooted. The Universal Restore seems not to pick up the drivers for my raid card, in spite of saying where they are located. So far, no good results with restoring an image to a similar computer, just different in a few minor respects. Any one know if this feature really works, or may be included in an upgrade? I think it is seriously broken in V. 10. Thanks for a reply, if anyone is able.

you can download an .iso image of the Linux-based media with Universal Restore under your account and then burn it to a CD.
