Warning of successfull backups?

Thread needs solution

Hi,

in January I updated all my Acronis clients from TI Echo to B&R 10.0.12705. I run on the weekend one full backup, on Sunday there is a (not Acronis) copy job of all images to tape. On Saturday morning, the existing backups of last week will be deleted on the hard disk by (not Acronis) task to get free space of the new backups.

Today I looked at my physical machine overview in the AMS. All jobs of last week show up a warning, following the Warning details:

What is the cause of this warning? "The archive was successfull created". The warning comes up at the beginning of the job.

My assumption: Because the old file was deleted, the software has to create a new file. And from not known cause, Acronis think, that's something critical and has to be reported as a warning in the logs.

Anyone an idea how I can fix that? Is there a way to disable this warning?

I think its simply informing you that its succesfully backed up in a kinda incorrect way, hopefully support will be able to solve this for you.

Peter is right, as the backup is reported to be successfully created, there's no need to worry. It can be either the GUI issue, or there's something in the log that the product would like to warn us about. I open a Support Case # 01051057 with Shamima and upload AcronisInfo of the AMS server and of one client as an example.

I got news to this issue, today I had contact with the german supporter M. Braun. He told me, that this warning stick together with my scripted cleanup job. This job delets all the meta data. At the next Acronis backup job, these data are missing and the warning comes up.

The solution - "Simplified Archive Naming" (http://kb.acronis.com/content/14850)
There are no meta data used in the "Simplified Archive Naming" mode. I test it, work for me - issue solved.
