What does "Certificate not valid" (error code 1023) Mean?

Thread needs solution

I just got this message (twice) AFTER all backups were made and the Post-command run using Build 10,287.

What does it mean, what specific "certificate" is it referring to, and do I have to worry about it?

What subset of ABR10 are you using?

Server, Advanced WS or Workstation?

I suspect it is referring to Licence Server, but if you have the standalone version of Workstation then I'd be wrong :)

Is it making images correctly and just flashes up the error message?

Hello all,

Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/ | Acronis Corporate Products]]

Carol Anne Ogdin,

Could you please clarify where backup location is placed (whether it's on internal, external, or network hard drive)? Is the machine a part of a domain? Is it a usual domain member machine (not a domain controller)?

Thank you.

The computer is a workstation in a domain.

The product is ABR 10 (not Advanced), installed locally on that computer. I am not using the "License Server" (It's launched manually at ."..Acronis Backup & Recovery 10\BackupAndRecoveryConsole\ManagementConsole.exe /mms", although this was a scheduled execution.

I use stable, previously-published Pre- and Post- scripts (posted at WildersSecurity forum before you shut it down).

I'm attaching the actual task here.

The only odd thing is that this *.tis file is NOT under the "All Users" profile, but under the user "Administrator.DWT" profile, a login I haven't used on this computer in MONTHS. Why would it put it there?

Hello Carol Anne Ogdin,

Thank you for your response.

This is very strange thing that the .tis file is located under this user. Please reinstall the program selecting the "For all users" option or reinstall the program under the current user.

Thank you.

I get the same warning, and am using ABR 10 Workstation. I am backing up to local files.

I just started getting this today 4/15/2010.
This error was in my log: Error code 1032 The certificate is not valid
I'm using ABR 10 (Build 10.0.11105) server edition.
What does this mean?? The backups still took place and were validated.
I am not using any pre or post scripts.

Does Acronis have an error codes page?
