Will there be another ABR11 update beyond 17318?
I have abandoned ABR11 17318. My time is more valuable that trying to make this product work. I'll try it again after the next update comes out.
Since I renewed my contract in June there has been three updates. None haave worked reliably for me. I'm still at ABR10. It is going to be hard to justify renewing my contract this year.
Would Acronis like to share the release date of the next update?

The last information I got from support (that was on Feb 7) is that a new build is going to be released "At the end of winter 2012".
That means two things:
Pro: It looks like this release is going to be the first release that is properly tested, since it spends more time in QA. Either that or it is much more a mess than I thought it was.
Cons: We're going to have to spend more time with the barely-working 17318 release. Oh well - as every reaction from support usually takes 2-3 weeks, this won't feel long... unless we need a restore in that time :/
Meanwhile - several people in the forum mentioned that they've been given "intermediate" builds by support. I got a beta StorageNode but won't put it in production until i get a changelog at least. I don't know if that build is more or less "beta" than the 17318 "release".

Thank you for opening the thread regarding this question, I will be glad to address you.
Unfortunately we do not have an exact ETA since (as mentioned above) it does depend on our QA and Development teams. However we expect the new build to be out in the end of February.
If we get any news on the release date, we'll immediately update you.

I will wait this februari until mars, then i will throw Acronis 11 as far as i can.
I am out of patience, and has been a long time.
Acronis 11, NO build is even close to ok.

Here it is, the end of February, and still no ARB11 update. In two months Acronis is going to try to get me to renew my maintenence contract. I don't believe I got my moneys worth the last time so I'm going to look for another vendor. $11000.00 is hard to justify for a 'no show' product. Acronis ABR was a fairly good product. What happened?

The last information I got was:
Unfortunately the build is not yet ready. We'll inform you by March the 2nd about the status.
It looks like they're really trying to get this build right. Kinda like a "relaunch".
For your renewal costs I'd suggest contacting your reseller. 11000 is worth re-negotiating - definitely. - unless you're already settled on a replacement...
