WinPE Boot Media Error

Thread needs solution

Using Acronis Backup 11.5 Update 6 and trying to get image of a new machine before configuring it and I'm getting the error message below when booting with my WinPE boot media. I've manually added the RAID controller drivers per instruction in the Acronis documentation but unable to see the C:\ drive with boot media.

  <event id="1" type="Warning" time="5/3/2016 1:03:58 PM" policy="[None]" task="[None]" InstanceType="[None]" Instance="[None]" Machine="MINWINPC" message="|ERROR:    0x0010C42C:0x0000|TEXT:     Failed to obtain the required volume information.|LINE TAG: 391BA231793BC703|" code="1,048,576(0x100000)" module="16" Owner="SYSTEM"/>

I found that this is a bug for Acronis 12 in ticket 111069 and the recommendation was to use a boot disk but that is where I get this error. Have there been any recent fixes in this?

Hi,

The message quoted may appear under different conditions and does not necessarily indicate the root cause of the booting problem. A possible cause might be a USB disk connected to the system at the time when you boot from Acronis Backup bootable media. It makes sense to temporariy disconnect it before boot attempt and connect it only after successful booting. If this doesn't help then please contact our support team for assistance and remember to capture a screen shot of the message you see when the boot process stops.

Thank you.
