Hi Everybody,

Is it possible to backup or replicate VM when they still running?
I would like to leave my disks in "Persitent" mode.

A virtual machine can be online (running), offline (stopped), suspended, or switched between the three states during backup.

When the virtual machine is online and the disk configured in "Persitent" mode, the backup doesn't work...

I'm sorry, I missed that. As far as I know you have to enable the independent mode in order to have persistent disks.
Independent virtual drives cannot be backed up when the virtual machine is turned on. You need to power off such VMs before backup.
