Data loss during failover
Thread needs solution
Using vmProtect 8 build 8.0.8128.
Seems the replica is synchronized by replication task only.
When the failover is triggered, the data harvested by the original VM after last replication task run are lost. Should be extra implicit replication task during failover, perhaps only when "stop original VM" is requested.
Suggested workaround to prevent data loss during failover:
1. Stop original VM
2. Run replication task (wait for completion)
3. Trigger failover
