VMprotect 8 can not detect my network.

Thread needs solution

Hello Everybody,

I installed Acronis Vmprotect 8 as virtual Appliance. and I assigned the licenses to the ESXi hosts. When I want to select "where to backup" I can not see my network.
Then I installed vmprotect as windows agent. same issue persist

can you help me please?

Hi Ethem,

Can you please clarify how exactly you cannot see network? Have you tried putting the UNC path to the share into Path field in the browsing dialogue and pressing Enter (for example type "\\10.1.1.123\sharename\" and hit Enter/press Go button)? After that if the path is browsed properly you should see the login dialogue on the right side and log into the share. See screen shot in the attachment with the example.

Note that in case of Windows Agent the network browsing is performed using Windows API itself, so it should behave in similar manner (the same behavior should be when you try to browse network with Windows Explorer).
