Clone to remote host Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5

Thread solved

Thank you for your help

Windows 2019 physical server
[Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 Standard Server]
I plan to install it.

The command described in the following pdf,
[clone disk] has an option for remote.
Is it possible to use this option to clone my C drive area to a remote Windows 2019 physical server and boot it?
If so, do you have the required Acronis components on the clone destination machine?

AB12.5 Command-Line Reference

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hello s.s.,

welcome to Acronis forums!

As I understood, you are referring to this clone disk command.

Please note that it will overwrite the entire target disk with the data from the source disk. The clone function is applicable for the entire drive, it can't clone separate volumes.

Is it possible to use this option to clone my C drive area to a remote Windows 2019 physical server and boot it?

I advise that you rather back up your local C drive and restore it to a remote server as described in this KB article: https://kb.acronis.com/content/35681

If so, do you have the required Acronis components on the clone destination machine?

In both cases, for clone and restore the Acronis Agent for Windows should be installed on your remote server.
