Error 0x627536 installation completed with result "1603"

Hello,

Installation of Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 for Server fails (progresses to 85% then rolls back) with the following Error in the bootstrapper.txt

So far tried the following:

1- Used the Acronis Cleanup Utility to removes previous Acronis products (agents previously installed: Acronis Cyber Protect and Acronis Cyber backup Cloud)

2- Relaunched the installation another time after changing the Custom installation Settings and specifying an ADMIN account in the User Account Settings > Installation keeps failing

However, please also try reinstalling after:

- verified that the user account is admin;
- give full permission to the Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Acronis\ and retry the installation.
- disabled the antivirus software.

If nothing helps, please collect and share with us the MSI log after reproducing this issue.

Thank you for your answer. I contacted Acronis support and after hanging few hours on the phone the Agent helped me resolve the issue!

In the AB64.msi.log we found the following Error:

Error 0x450001: Failed to set named security info of the folder 'C:\ProgramData\alsdb'.

The folder C:\ProgramData\alsdb has been created by a previous Acronis installation (Acronis Cyber Protect Trial) After removing this folder the installation went through!

I would expect that the Acronis Cleanup Utility removes or renames this folder to avoid this situation!
