How to remove all old backup copies when a new full backup has been created ?

Thread solved

Hello

I am using Acronis cloud backup. I created a backup plan to take 1 full backup and 4 differential backups. The full backup age is 1 month and for differential, backups are 4 weeks. my issue is when a new full backup is been created, the old full backup still exists and the age of the old one is more than one month. I am asking if there a way to delete all other backup versions when a new full backup has been created at the beginning of each month?

Hello Mohamed,

Welcome to Acronis forums!

Please note that any full backup can be (and will be) deleted only after had been deleted all dependencies backups. Thus, your previous full backup will be deleted when the latest (the 4th, as I understood) differential backup that depends on that full is deleted.
